More About Me

Hello! If you’re new, welcome! I’m so glad you found this page. My name is Jennifer Bias Bryant and I’m running for West Virginia House of Delegates – District 32. One of the reasons I decided to run is because I KNOW that together we can move our community forward.

I’m many things — but I’m NOT a politician. I’m a wife, a mother, and a daughter who over the years has also been a cook, waitress, a substitute teacher, a coal mine clerk, PTA President, and more. I know that we need more people in office who make listening a central part of their job.

I am Southern West Virginia, by birth, choice, and Divine Providence. I care deeply about our people… ALL of our people. I am who I am because of the Appalachian values I was raised on – work hard, help your neighbors, and treat others the way you want to be treated – with respect that is rooted in kindness, decency, and honesty.

I know that West Virginia deserves better. We deserve leaders who put people before party politics and our communities before corporations who too often are looking to exploit our beautiful state and our people.

Tonight, I made meatloaf for dinner & doubled the recipe to freeze for a day in the future when I’m busy being out in the county meeting and talking with people, who like me, love our families and want the best for them. If you could, tell me something that our government could do that would make a huge difference in your life.
